My dear friend Meredith and her charming beau Anthony came to NY from Chicago and I was lucky enough to get to have dinner with them on Christmas night. We ate at Anthony Bourdain's Les Halles on Park Avenue - and had a wonderful and delicious meal! Most of all, the company was sublime!
Letting me crash the party was already such a treat, but the thoughtful and generous MK also brought a box of Frango's Dark Chocolate Mints. I had never heard of Frango's - a Marshall Field brand that apparently was only sold in Chicago for the longest time, although now you can get them in Macy's or even on Amazon.
